Investing is a tough business filled with missed opportunities and sucker's bets and chances of a lifetime and ones that got away. It's easy to buy late and sell early and stay awake all night wondering who ever talked you into this mess.
It's also a business where careful people using time-tested strategies can come out ahead over time. That's what I strive to do year after year. What gets me out of bed each morning is the desire to beat the market for you, my readers and subscribers. There is no greater honor than the trust that you place in me. I feel it every time I send a note or pen a chapter or post a column that may influence the actions you take with your money.
It's a pleasure to serve you.
Another successful year is coming to an end. I want to thank you for remaining with me through the ups and downs of the market. I want to applaud you for sticking to the principles that are proven to win out in the end. I want to extend a hand and say to you, "I'm grateful for the faith you have shown in me." Most of all, I want you to know what a joy it is to work hard on your behalf.
I wish you the very happiest of holidays. Enjoy the profits we've made this year and raise a toast to the ones we'll make next.
Yours Very Truly,
Jason Kelly
